SET OF THREE restrike handcolored aquatint engravings, plate area approximately 10 x 17 1/4 inches on sheet size 16 x 22 1/2 inches. Overall toning and light soiling (mainly affecting outer margins), ink marks to lower margin of "Going to Cover" (outside plate area). All would display well when matted to the plate mark. These were used as samples by a handcolorist of restrike engravings. Attractive engravings of 19th century foxhunting scenes by Henry Alken. Item #48818
