Light toning to covers, light edgewear and a few spots of foxing to left edge (outside image area), 3/4 inch split to left fold end; overall very good condition. Irvin Shope's iconic map of Montana, showing trails including "Lewis and Clark's route West", Lewis's return route and Clark's return route, "Custer's Last March to the Little Big Horn", "Retreat of Chief Joseph's Nez Perces", etc. Pictographs represent animals, historical events, etc. "A Tabloid History of Montana" on verso by Bob Fletcher.
