Seattle. Seattle Chamber of Commerce. No date. Ca. 1924.
Pamphlet, 9 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches unfolding to sheet 25 x 19 inches, black and white map 21 1/2 x 14 1/4 inches on one side. Several splits along folds most 1/2 inch or less but one 2 inch long (at left edge), tiny paper loss at a couple of fold intersections, small stain to front cover, general wear. Good condition. The large map of Seattle is particularly fascinating for the identification of businesses using the different piers and waterfront properties. Ferries across Lake Washington are marked. Street index borders the map on two sides. On the verso is information on Seattle and surroundings (including "Fishing Close to Seattle"), a street car directory and "Map of Downtown and Waterfront Area." The population for 1924 is estimated by the city directory to be more than 350,000. Item #47588
