Numerous full page and double page (tipped in) color maps, color diagrams, in-text black and white illustrations, decorative endpapers, 625pp, 14 x 12 inches, gilt decorative embossed cloth-covered boards (hardbound). Covers rubbed and lightly soiled; front hinge broken but still attached, Publisher's Guarantee filled in for previous owner on front paste-down, stamp and previous owner's name to front endpaper, text block shaken with a couple of sections starting to come loose, light soiling and a couple of short edge tears to a few maps, otherwise interior clean. Pagination jumps from 216 to 221 (with binder tabs) but all maps are present and it appears to be complete as published. Includes country maps and individual state maps of the U.S., diagrams showing the distributions of major religions throughout the world, color illustrations showing Flags of All Nations, etc. The main section of maps is between page 104 and 216; following that are the two binder tabs and the text section. Title continued, "Giving the Latest and Most Instructive Maps, Charts, Diagrams, and the Most Practical, Comprehensive and Useful Statistical and Other Information; The Whole Brought Down to the Latest Dates, and Presented in the Most Convenient Form for Everyday Use."
