New York. Gray Lith. Co., Copyright 1904.
Calendar, chromolithgraphic illustrations, six sheets sized 12 3/4 x 10 inches, tied with cloth ribbon at mid upper edge. Very good condition; some light foxing to the first calendar page, light soiling and a few neat pen notations to the verso of the last sheet. This wonderfully preserved calendar features six chromolithographic images of enchanting nymphets in flowing, form-fitting costumes fondling beautiful flowering plants. In a lower corner of each sheet, accompanying each image, are two small calendar pages: the months of January/February portray a Water Lily maiden; March/April a Lotus maiden; May/June a Tiger Lily maiden; July/August an Iris maiden; September/October a Trumpet Lily maiden; November/December a Calla Lily maiden. The beguiling Art Nouveau style illustrations are printed in bright but subtle colors. In sum, a most attractive item of unrestrained fancy. Copyright 1904 by the Gray Litho Company, NY. Item #47196
