Cover extremities worn with some scuffing to color label; owner name on front paste down, several pages with light soiling in margins, good condition. Wonderfully creative work by Peter Newell with humorous illustrations following the path of a bullet as it wreaks havoc, until stopped by the icing of a cake baked by a newlywed. This is the 1912 edition of a classic first published in 1908; there is no hole in the cover. Item #46965
