Weber's. No date. Ca. 1930s.
Booklet, 24 loose color illustrated cards approximately 5 x 3 1/2 inches to be pasted in alloted spaces throughout booklet, 26pp, approximately 7 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches, color pictorial paper wrappers (softbound). Very good, clean condition with center sheet loose; all 24 cards are present and they are inserted in the proper order but - importantly - not pasted to the pages. The front cover of the booklet explains: "Fill This By Buying Weber's Mity-Nice Bread: One Picture Wrapped With Each Loaf." Text on the back cover further explains: "You can fill it more quickly if you ask the neighbors to save the pictures for you, - then if you have duplicates, you can change with your little friends who also have books." The illustrations are the work of M. Greiner, best known for early 20th century post cards featuring children - black and white. A piece of Americana scarce in this condition. Item #46156
