Booklet, black and white illustrations, unpaginated, 5 x 8 inches, textured tan paper wrappers with color illustration of a totem pole and tan tie binding. Fine condition. Issued by "John Davis & Company: Mortgage Loans, Real Estate, and Insurance, Rents and Interest Collected." On one page is printed a letter from Mr Davis in which he states: "This little book portraying a few phases of Puget Sound life is presented, first [underlined] with the hope that its mission in promoting this section will bear goodly results, and incidentally [underlined] that it will serve as an aid in introducing our business to those outside of Seattle who may sometime or other, require the services of a realty agency in this city." There are several Curtis Indian images, two images of the Davis offices, and many other unusual views including the Seattle Golf and Country Club, A Siwash home, Morning View of the 'Antlers' - Lake Cushman etc etc. Engraved and printed by the Seattle Engraving Company.
