SET OF 3 VOLUMES each in two parts (total of six thin card bound books), black and white woodblock illustrations and diagrams, 22+30+41 pp, 5 3/4 x 8 3/8 inches (15 x 21.5cm), title labels, Japanese stab binding. Light wear to covers, chips and creasing to a couple of the title labels (one of which is largely detached), thread binding to the first volume is coming loose, overall very good condition. A classic text of traditional building techniques by Ishikawa Jūho, a master carpenter of Shimoyama. Only two libraries (Harvard and Princeton) are listed in OCLC as holding this title. Item #45928
