A bold and informative map drawn by A. Zaidenberg celebrating the architecture (old and new) and rich historical past of lower Manhattan (the area mapped extends from Battery Park to Park Row and Chambers Street.) Buildings are sketched in and named (Stone and Webster, Equitable Building, Socony Vacuum Oil Co., Adelphi Hotel etc.) Humor is incorporated with the entertaining vignette illustrations depicting historical events.
