PAIR OF ENGRAVINGS. Copperplate engravings, each approximately 14 x 8 1/2 inches on sheet size 14 1/2 x 8 3/4 inches. Couple of light soiled spots, overall very good condition. Two plates (one number 5, the other number is too light to read), drawn and engraved by W. Grainger, from a late 18th century encyclopedia showing soldiers in the various steps of the Manual Exercise. One plate shows use of the bayonet, the other firing arms. Item #44655
