24 black and white plates, 18 1/2 x 14 inches, loose in paper covered board folder with cloth spine and cloth ties. Folder worn and soiled, extensive wear to lower right corner of folder, 2 inch tear to head and tail of spine; overall light toning to sheets, a few short edge tears and occasional light soiling (mainly to outer margins). There is a small color label with the number 45 at top right of the front cover and another label at lower right; each of the plates is stamped with the number 45 in the upper right margin. A collection of H. Friling's attractive Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) designs featuring plant and animal life. Hermann Friling produced a number of portfolios of design concepts for architects and designers. Item #43876
