Folding street map, hand-colored, linen backed, 20 1/4 x 30 1/4 inches, folding as issued, with attached cloth folding tape ruler, and 48 page booklet, gilt lettered decorative embossed cloth covered boards, 7 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches. Cover extremities lightly rubbed, small white mark to upper edge of front cover. Map: some faint offsetting from cloth ruler, scattered foxing mostly only visible on linen verso with the exception of the left margin where the foxing is more prevalent, 1/8 inch separations at a few fold intersections (minimized by linen backing), overall very good condition. An attractive and detailed street map of London, England covering the area of Paddington Cemetery in the upper left, Parsons Green in the lower left, Hackney Marsh in the upper right, the Isle of Dogs and West India Docks at right edge, and Deptford and Hatcham in the lower right. Booklet features "An Alphabetical List of 7000 Streets, to accompany Indicator Map of London in which every Street or Public Building required can be be instantly found by means of a Tape...Also, a Visitor's Guide to the Public Buildings, Theatres, and Places of Amusement in London and the Environs with a Complete List of Railway Stations."
