Nottingham. J. W. Harding & Co., 1925.
Color road map, 15 1/2 x 13 3/4 inches on sheet size 30 1/2 x 22 1/2 folded as issued to 7 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. Wear and light soiling to extremities, map has some soft creases, a few 1/2 to 1 inch separations at fold intersections, four very small areas of paper loss (where the folded map was lightly worn at exterior folds), overall good clean condition and very displayable. The Hardings' maps are particularly interesting and attractive with their distinctive border of advertisements for local businesses. In this instance these include one for The Universal Motor Co. Ltd. featuring a Ford car, and for the Cycle House "The Leading Cycle Traders in Munster" with image of a Rudge-Whitworth bicycle and a Triumph motorcycle. The area covered is from Kilcolman Lodge in the upper left to Grange in the upper right down to Power Head across to Bandon in the lower left. Calendars for 1925 through 1928 appear in the upper and lower borders. Item #41718
