Color pictographic / pictorial map, 15 1/4 x 22 inches on sheet size 17 3/4 x 22 3/4 folding to pamphlet 9 x 4 inches. 1 1/4 inch split to left of horizontal fold, short separation at upper left vertical fold, little wear to lower area of vertical fold (1/4 inch of fold which is outside edge when map is folded, not noticeable), light abrasion to outer panel when folded. Map is clean and bright and displays well. This post World War II map by Alfred E. Taylor features four decorative cartouches for England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales surrounding the main map, with vignette illustrations of significant features of the towns and cities. The verso features black and white photo illustrations of places and buildings of interest such as Big Bend and Buckingham Palace, and key cities such as Cambridge, Edinburgh, York, etc. Item #41710
