Accordion folding view book, duo-toned illustrations, single sheet folding accordion style into 9 x 5 1/2 inch gilt decorative cloth covered boards with cloth spine (hardbound). Light wear to cover extremities exposing tips of boards, old price mark to upper right corner of front cover, interior in very good condition with light rubbing to a few edges and two separated panels (repaired on verso). Bright gilt decorative binding. This attractive antique booklet, highlighting the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893 in Chicago, contains bird's eye views of the exhibition and numerous buildings such as the Illinois State Building, the Machinery Hall, and the Woman's Building. The decorative gilt cover features winged figures on a globe above the Exposition buildings. Item #41278
