Chromolithograph, 17 1/2 x 24 3/4 inches on sheet 20 1/2 x 27 1/2 inches. Light soiling to margins, a few stains to upper margin well outside image area, several edge tears up to 3/4 inch (also outside image area); richly colored chromolithograph in very good condition overall. Image shows slight glare from photography lights. A farm woman presents an appreciative nun with a pair of chickens at Christmas time. After an original painting by Alessandro Sani (1856-1927).
