Color map, 14 x 18 inches, with moveable stiff card arrow attached at centre, street index on verso, folding as issued to 9 x 4 3/4 inches. Creasing to card arrow, some soft creases to map, 1/8 inch separation at one fold intersection, several pinholes, foxing and toning to covers and areas of light toning to map. Settlement to the west of the city barely extends beyond the 2 mile radius; in the west hills Dosch Road is at the city limits; in east Portland settlement extends beyond Mt. Tabor Park. From map: "To locate any place desired, consult aphabetical [sic] lists, note number and letter alongside place sought, then turn indicator until point touches proper number on rim of map, and place desired will appear alongside space occupied by proper letter on indicator". Small map of "Columbia River Highway" bordering larger map. "Patented by Fred B. Bain, Inc., March 19, 1929" at lower left of map; "Copyrighted 1933 by Armena Pittmon" at lower right.
