Color pictorial bird's eye view style map, 19 1/2 x 28 1/2 inches (50 x 72 cm), folding as issued into color pictorial paper folder 11 x 5 1/2 inches. Good condition: short splits at intersections of folds, light rubbing to folds at right of map, one site inconspicuously labeled in pencil, folder is edgeworn with small chips and edge tears. A most attractive bird's eye view of Nikko National Park with the Nikko Tosho-gu Shrine at centre. Map title and a few site names are in English, all other text in Japanese. The National Park was established in 1934. Item #38709
