Color pictorial map, 26 x 17 inches folding to pamphlet 9 x 4 1/2 inches. Abrasion to lower front cover resulting in three small holes in upper left of full sheet map, couple of short separations at fold intersections. Map still displays very well. The full sheet color pictorial map of the Principal Events in the life of George Washington depicts the eastern seaboard with small pictographs and lettered ribbon banners marking the events and places of Washington's life. This is a very attractive map with a colorful flag cartouche, a compass rose and sailing vessels offshore. The map is copyright General Drafting Co. On the verso are three small pictorial maps of 'Mount Vernon Memorial Highway', 'Landmarks of George Washington's Life in Philadelphia and vicinity', and 'The Shrines of George Washington in and around the city of New York'.
