Etching, handcolored; image is full sheet size on sheet 10 1/2 x 8 inches (27 x 20 cm). At top centre of sheet is a very light barely visible mark from an old-fashioned paperclip, otherwise good condition. Botanical details are included along the lower edge of the plate. Plate 202 from "The Botanist's Repository, Comprising Colour'd Engravings of New and Rare Plants Only" by H.C. Andrews (Dunthorne #8). This periodical publication was an early competitor to William Curtis's "Botanical Magazine" Item #36465
