Two small pieces of tape and slight indentations from old clips at upper border well outside of plate mark, very good condition. With accompanying text sheet. A plate from William Curtis's magnum opus "Flora Londinensis" (de Belder #86, Dunthorne #87). This work is celebrated for the skill of the engraving and handcoloring; the plants are depicted life size, and include most of the British flora.
