Cover detached and split at spine with light soiling and "sample copy" stamped on front, last several pages torn and chipped at top edge, interior clean. Articles include "Victoria, British Columbia", "Along the Great Northern Coast Line", "New Westminster, British Columbia", "Chehalis County, Washington" and "Crater Lake". Includes Washington and British Columbia directories. The Coast magazine, published by Honor L. Wilhelm in Seattle, billed itself variously as "An Illustrated Magazine of the West", "A Monthly Magazine of the West", "The Pioneer Monthly of Washington" and as "Wilhelm's Magazine". It is a valuable record of life in the Pacific Northwest at the turn of the 20th century. Item #32949
