Copperplate engraved map with original handcolor, 19 x 22 1/4 inches (48.5 x 57 cm) on sheet 21 1/2 x 25 1/4 inches (55 x 64 cm), centrefold. Light soiling, particularly in margins, occasional foxing spots, border corners worn well outside of image, a few soft creases to top margin, neat lines at corners somewhat rubbed. Good condition. A very attractive map, including Denmark and the Baltic sea area. Includes (uncolored) portions of Sweden and Germany. Uncolored decorative engraved cartouche at upper right corner.
