Narrow left margin (approx. 3/16 inch), small, light spot of foxing in lower right margin well outside image area. Plate 466 from Michel Etienne Descourtilz's "Flore Pittoresque et Medicale des Antilles ou Traite des Plantes Usuelles des Colonies Francaises, Anglaises, Espagnoles et Portugaises". #99 in the De Belder catalog, this work is described as "an attractively illustrated survey of the economic plants of the West Indies . . . The plates are by the author's son, who later became a distinguished ornithological artist." Item #29028
