Map with outline hand color, 12 x 15 1/2 inches including decorative border. Very good condition. Two maps in one: Western Australia measuring 12 x 7 inches, Van-Diemen Island (Tasmania) 12 x 8 inches. Western Australia shows southwest area of current state, from just north of Perth to Albany with not a great deal of information between the two - it is "from recent Surveys sent to the Colonial Office". The whole of Tasmania is shown including Bass Strait with "Wilson Promontory" named on the Australian mainland. The southwest and northeast portions of Tasmania are unmapped. Item #27076
