Miami International Map Fair History Miami brings together leading dealers, collectors, and experts of antique maps from around the world, providing a forum for sharing information and expertise and for building one's own map collection.

Geography and Map Reading Room of the Library of Congress This is the cartography research centre, with links to many useful areas including the digitized map collections of the Library of Congress.

David Rumsey Historical Map Collection An incredibly extensive resource of detailed information and images on antique and vintage maps, including maps in ephemera.

Japanese Historical Maps A special area of the David Rumsey website with over 1100 images of maps and books from the Japanese Historical Map Collection. This collection, which contains about 2,300 early maps of Japan and the World, was acquired by the University of California from the Mitsui family in 1949, and is housed on the Berkeley campus in the East Asian Library.

National Library of Australia Map Collection Over 6300 items from the Map Collection are now accessible online.

International Map Collectors' Society Excellent information on Caring for Your Collection, antique map related events etc. The membership journal is a first class publication with articles on early (and not so early) maps and collecting.
