Magazine 10 1/4 x 6 3/4 inches, eight unnumbered pages of advertising (including table of contents) at beginning of magazine followed by diverse articles (pp. 254 through 216) pertaining to "Politics, Science, Literature, and Art.") Articles of interest include the photo-illustrated "Ascent of the Three Sisters": "The Passing of the Bull-Whacker, "Pacific Coast Cypreses," "Kerbyville - The Pioneer Gold Camp of Oregon," plus articles of diverse interest (short fiction, profiles of eminent persons, Chinese immigration "The Potlatch of Wing Tang Fou" (5pp), transportation, etc.). Full-page photos of Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington with descriptive text trumpeting each city ("As a center of wealth, and in commercial importance, Portland is far ahead of any city of equal population in the United States.") Full page illustrated ad for Rainier Beer (featuring a woman drinking a glass). Couple of spots to the front cover but overall in very good condition. Item #55793
