Damage from a few removed pieces of tape at upper border outside of plate mark, very good condition. With accompanying text sheet. A plate from the second edition of William Curtis's magnum opus "Flora Londinensis" (de Belder #87, Dunthorne #87), enlarged by George Graves and William Jackson Hooker. The wove paper in this edition is whiter than the laid paper in the 18th century edition. The plants are depicted life size, and include most of the British flora. The background leaf is uncolored.
