Shipping Costs
Shipping in the U.S.
Media or Bound Printed Matter Rate (for books and magazines)
* $4.00 for the first book, $1.00 additional per item thereafter. (Heavy items and sets may be slightly more and will be quoted).
First Class or Priority Shipping
* For prints and maps a flat fee of $6.00. For light paper items we may prefer to use first class mail. There is a weight limit of 12oz for this mail type, which means that the package isn't liable to be crushed by heavy parcels. We always pack well to avoid damage in transit. Please note in the comment field if you have a preference for first class or priority shipping.
* For books and magazines $8.00 for the first book, $2.00 additional per item thereafter (unusually heavy books sent priority may be slightly more based on weight).
We are happy to try to accomodate requests for express mail or other shipping options; please let us know when placing your order if there are special requests, such as if an item needs to reach you by a certain date, and we will do our best to make this happen. In general items are shipped within two business days of payment.
Shipping outside the U.S.
* For prints and maps:
We quote a flat rate of $15. If we can send for less we will, and we will charge you a lesser amount (if you will be paying by paypal, please contact us for the correct shipping amount first, as we do not make postage charge refunds once the paypal payment has been sent). If the postage charge will be more than $15, we will quote you the higher fee before sending the item.
For books:
We quote a rate of $15 for the first book, $5 each thereafter. If we can send for less we will, and we will charge you a lesser amount (if you will be paying by paypal, please contact us for the correct shipping amount first, as we do not make postage charge refunds once the paypal payment has been sent). If the postage charge will be more than $15, we will quote you the higher fee before sending the item.
