Menu folder, color pictorial cover, 14 x 10 inches, floral design to inside covers. Light spot at upper right edge of cover picture, light wear to edges, otherwise very good condition. A dramatic image of a Hawaiian outrigger being paddling in surf. Subtle colors and an appreciation for the Hawaiian people are the hallmark of the menu covers produced by John Melville Kelly. The fact that he was also an etcher is evident in the subtle linear work and tonal qualities of these highly collectible images. |
