Back Cover: a striking pictographic map "Olympia Torch Relay-Race 1936", by Fritz Bley reproduced from a poster issued by the Reichsbahnzentrale Für Den Deutschen Reiseverkehr (Reich Committee for Tourist Traffic). The map shows the route of the Olympic torch from Olympia, Greece to Berlin. Inside there is a 1/3rd page photo of the Hindenberg with caption "The German airship 'Hindenburg' which covered the distance from Lakehurst to Frankfurt-on-Main in the record time of 46 hours". |
