Descamps-Sabouret, L (illus). Rose: Madame Isaac Pereire. Stock ID: 41868 Journal des Roses. 04- 1893. Chromolithograph, sheet size 10 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches. One edge tear at upper and lower edges, 1/2 inch repaired tear at left edge, chip and tiny tear at upper left corner; all of these minor faults would be hidden with matting. The image itself is particularly vibrant and clean. Deeply colored antique botanical print of a pinkish-red tea rose, from Journal Des Roses, April 1893. The artist is L. Descamps-Sabouret, and the chromolithograph was printed by De Tollenaere in Brussels, Belgium. |
